The latest James Bond movie, Spectre, is set to be released in the UK on October 26th, 2015. In the US, the movie will be released on November 6th, 2015.

The History of James Bond

James Bond is a character created by Ian Fleming in 1953. The character has been featured in 12 novels and 2 short story collections written by Fleming and a number of other authors. The first novel, Casino Royale, was published in 1953.

The character has also been adapted for film and television, appearing in 26 films. The first film, Dr. No, was released in 1962. The most recent film, Spectre, was released in 2015.

There is no release date yet for the next James Bond film, but it is expected to be released in 2019 or 2020.

In “Casino Royale,” Daniel Craig became the sixth actor to play James Bond, joining a prestigious group that includes Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, and Roger Moore. -Sean Connery is widely considered to be the best actor to have played James Bond. He appeared as Bond in seven films, beginning with “Dr. No” in 1962 and ending with “Diamonds Are Forever” in 1971.

-George Lazenby took over for Connery in 1969’s “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” He is the only actor to have played James Bond just once.

-Roger Moore played James Bond a total of seven times, from 1973’s “Live and Let Die” to 1985’s “A View to a Kill.” His run as 007 is the longest of any actor to date.

-Timothy Dalton took over for Moore in 1987’s “The Living Daylights.” He played 007 two more times, in 1989’s “Licence to Kill” and 1995’s “GoldenEye.”

-Pierce Brosnan became the fifth actor to play James Bond when he stepped into the role for 1995’s GoldenEye. He went on to play 007 four more times, in 1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies,” 1999’s The World Is Not Enough,” 2002’s Die Another Day,” and 2006’s Casino Royale.”

-Daniel Craig is the current actor playing James Bond. He made his debut as 007 in 2006’s Casino Royale,” and has since gone on to star in 2008’s Quantum of Solace,” 2012’s Skyfall,” 2015″ Spectre,” and 2020s No Time To Die.”

The James Bond Theme Songs

The first Bond film, Dr. No, was released in 1962. The movie featured the song “Twist and Shout” by The Isley Brothers as the opening credits theme. The following year, the second Bond film From Russia With Love featured the song “From Russia with Love” by Matt Monro during the opening credits. Since then, each subsequent film in the franchise has featured a different theme song during the opening credits.

Some of these songs have become as iconic as the films themselves, such as “Live and Let Die” by Wings, “Nobody Does It Better” by Carly Simon, and “A View to a Kill” by Duran Duran. Others have been more forgettable, such as Madonna’s “Die Another Day” and Garbage’s “The World Is Not Enough.”
