The culture of the kingdom in which Rapunzel lives in the movie

Rapunzel is a creative and curious teenager who spends her days exploring her kingdom, playing with her pet chameleon Pascal, and daydreaming about the outside world. Rapunzel was born in the lost city of Corona and spent the first eighteen years of her life locked away in a secluded tower. She is incredibly naïve and sheltered, due to being raised by Mother Gothel, an evil woman who kept Rapunzel hidden away from the world in order to keep her youth and beauty for herself. When Rapunzel finally meets Flynn Rider, a thief who has come to steal her crown, she takes him captive and convinces him to take her on an adventure outside of the tower. The two eventually fall in love and embark on a dangerous journey to find Rapunzel’s real parents, which leads them to discover that Rapunzel is actually a princess.

Corona is probably inspired by a number of different cultures, but it seems to be mainly inspired by medieval Germany or Italy. The architecture of the kingdom – both inside and outside of Rapunzel’s tower – is very reminiscent of Gothic architecture found in medieval Europe. The people of Corona also dress in traditional medieval clothing – Rapunzel even wears a corset at one point! – and celebrate annual festivals like Oktoberfest. Overall, the kingdom of Corona seems to be a fascinating melting pot of different cultures from across Europe.

The magical properties of Rapunzel’s hair in the movie

In the movie, Rapunzel’s parents were expecting a baby and one day when her mother was pregnant, she went into the forest to pick some rampion. An old woman who lived there saw her, and asked for some in return for giving Rapunzel to her when she was born. Her parents agreed, not knowing that the woman was a witch.

The witch kept Rapunzel locked in a tower in the middle of the forest, and visited her every day. When Rapunzel was twelve years old, the witch cut off her hair and took her away to another part of the forest. Rapunzel was very upset and cried all day long.

The next day, a prince who had been riding through the forest heardRapunzel crying. He climbed up to her tower and they talked to each other through the window. They fell in love and decided that he would come back the next day so that she could let down her hair so he could climb up to visit her.

The witch found out about their plan and was very angry. She cut off Rapunzel’s hair and took her back to the tower in the middle of the forest. The prince came back the next day, but there was no sign of Rapunzel. He rode around looking for her but he couldn’t find her anywhere.

One day, while he was out riding, he saw Rappen Zika flying throughthe air with something trailing behind it. He followed it until it came to a stop at an old woman’s house in the middle of the forest. He realized that it was Rapunzel’s hair that Rappen Zika had been carrying!

He knocked on the door and when the old woman answered it, he asked if he could come in. She said yes and he went inside. He saw Rapunzel sitting in a chair with tears running down her face. The witch had gone out for a walk and hadn’t leftRapunzel alone for long before – just long enough for RappenzosstaPrince to get there!
